Laurence Libin will deliver the second of three lectures in the series “Joyful Noise: Musical Instruments, Composers and Musicians in Early America.” Libin is an emeritus Research Curator at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, where he directed for many years the Department of Musical Instruments, and he is well known as the author of a great many articles, exhibition catalogs, and books on historical instruments.
