February 20, 2010
10:30 am - 5:30 pm
Dwight House

Join us for a special opportunity to experience the recently opened Apprentice’s Workshop at Dwight House. Learn about the materials, tools and processes behind the goods commonly used in early New England households: woven wool textiles, English factory-made ceramics and architectural woodwork. Also, enjoy special tours of our textile and furniture galleries in the Flynt Center of Early New England Life right next door. Free for teachers. Pre-registration by February 10, 2010 is required. Please contact Claire Carlson, Education Program Coordinator at (413) 775-7217 or ccarlson [at] hisotric-deerfield [dot] org.
