Thank you for your interest in visiting Historic Deerfield.

Historic Deerfield offers many family-friendly experiences, including printed family guides to use in some historic houses and in the Flynt Center, and outdoor experiences such as the Cook’s Garden and the Meadow Walk. The History Workshop provides a place where families can relax, play on their own, or have a hands-on experience guided by a museum educator. The History Workshop is open most weekends from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. during our open season.

Note: Families with very young children are asked to leave baby strollers and back carriers outside of museum buildings. Unaccompanied children may not enter museum buildings.
