Museum Hours
Winter Season: (November 30, 2009 – April 11, 2010)
The Flynt Center of Early New England Life is open on weekends (Saturday-Sunday) from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The museum will re-open for the 2010 Regular Season again on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
2010 Regular Season: (April 17 – November 28, 2010)
Open daily from 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (except Thanksgiving, Nov. 25).
Most museum houses are shown on the hour during guided tours that last approximately one-half hour each. Two museum houses are open all day for self-guided tours, and the Apprentice’s Workshop at Dwight House is open from 12-4 p.m. A free orientation film is shown throughout the day at the Hall Tavern Visitor Center.
Suggested itineraries in pdf format are available for download by visitors interested in Decorative Arts, Everyday Life in the Past, Visiting with Children, and if you have only Two Hours to Visit. Visitors may also book a private Tour-By-Appointment.

Open Monday-Friday, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Closed all state and federal holidays.

Historic Deerfield will offer instruction in open hearth cooking for those who are interested in historic foodways and hearth management. A series of seven one-day classes has been scheduled for Saturdays in February and March 2010.
The 2010 winter lecture series is titled “A Freshly Minted Democracy: Coins and Medals in Early America.” All of the lectures will be offered at 2 p.m. at the White Church Community Center, and are free and open to the public.
