This 1.25 ounce package of tightly rolled green tea, Pinhead Gunpowder, will brew 30 cups of tea. Gunpowder is green tea that is lightly rolled and lightly roasted, resulting in a finished look of dark, rounded green tea which closely resembles actual gunpowder.  One can witness the “agony of the tea leaf” as the green tea is added to hot water, slowly and fitfully unfurling its leaves. Gunpowder has a light and refreshing flavor that was popular with early American colonists, and traded by the British East India Company.
