This walking tour discusses places and events surrounding the permanent settlers of the English village of Deerfield between 1690 and 1730. During the tour you can: learn to “read” the historic landscape by examining sites from early Deerfield; learn about the daily lives of the English settlers in Deerfield during the years 1690-1730; and develop a sense of what the village looked like in the years around the 1704 raid.
