Saturday December 13, 2025 from Noon-4pm at Hall Tavern
$7 for adults, youth 17 and under free
Join us at Historic Deerfield for an afternoon of fun winter pastimes. Local musical ensemble Merry Company will create a joyful ambience to accompany the activities throughout the afternoon. In the kitchen you can string a popcorn and cranberry garland or help our hearth cook mix up ginger snaps, inspired by the “hard gingerbread” recipes of Amelia Simmons and Lydia Maria Child. Make a decoration for the holidays inspired by the architecture of Deerfield houses, make a fragrant apple pomander, and assemble a pouch of mulling spices. Drink apple cider, play historic board games, and have fun wearing old-fashioned dress-up clothes.
Tickets: $7 for adults, free for youth (17 and under), members, and Deerfield/South Deerfield residents.
