PUBLIC PROGRAMS MANAGER
Historic Deerfield seeks a dynamic full-time Public Programs Manager with a passion for history and a commitment to visitor engagement to join the Museum Education Team. The Public Programs Manager designs, manages, implements, and evaluates engaging educational and cultural events for all museum visitors. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, mission-driven, detail-oriented, and experienced in both program management and execution within a museum education or public history environment. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in history, education, museum
studies, or a related field; three-five years of program management experience, and a strong commitment to site engagement and visitor experience.

The organization encompasses more than 50 historic structures and over 100 acres, including twelve historic houses, the Flynt Center of Early New England Life, the Deerfield Inn, and a collection of more than 55,000 objects spanning the seventeenth through twentieth centuries.
FRONT-DESK CLERK

The Deerfield Inn, operated by Historic Deerfield, is seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Clerk to provide excellent guest service and support the daily operations of our boutique inn. This is a part-time, hourly position ideal for someone who enjoys working with people in a warm, welcoming environment. The rate of pay is $15.00-$15.50/hour.
