Curator, Lauren Whitley, will provide a look back at the exhibition Body By Design: Fashionable Silhouettes from the Ideal to the Real. Whitley will take us on a tour, exploring the different ways both women and men used clothing to express body ideals. As a bonus, Whitley will give a sneak peek of the upcoming exhibition Dressing the Revolution: Fashion and Politics, 1760-1789, which places fashion at the center of cultural, social, and political debates during the Revolution, and opens to the public at Historic Deerfield on April 18th.
