PAYROLL/HR SPECIALIST
Historic Deerfield seeks a detail oriented and reliable Payroll/HR Specialist to support the museum’s financial and human resources operations. Reporting to the Vice President for Finance and Administration, this position manages biweekly payroll, maintains HR records, prepares journal entries, oversees capital asset reporting, reconciles key accounts, and assists with annual audits and filings. The role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who values accuracy, collaboration, and mission driven work. The hiring range is $25-30/hour.

ACCOUNTANT
The Accountant in the Business Office is responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, cash deposits, corporate credit card program, and remittance of sales and use taxes. Additionally, the Accountant prepares account reconciliations, conducts analysis, and supports the Business Office with other accounting and administrative duties. Cross-trained to assist in human resources and payroll functions, this role is a key player within the Business Office team. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Administration. The rate of pay is $20-25/hour.

SECURITY GUARD
Historic Deerfield Inc. is seeking a reliable and observant Security Guard to help maintain the safety and security of our employees, visitors, buildings, grounds, collections, and equipment. This role also involves monitoring the property for maintenance issues such as leaks, property damage, and equipment malfunctions, ensuring they are promptly reported. The Security Guard will respond to alarms and security incidents in a professional and efficient manner. The rate of pay starts at $16/hour.
