Immerse yourself in the lore and legends of old graveyards this fall as you learn about gravestone carving, tour the Old Burying Ground, and hear a special talk about Gravestones and Epitaphs! Locations and times listed below.

Gravestone Carving Demonstration with Karin Sprague

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hall Tavern.

John Hanson—Gravestones and Epitaphs in Deerfield’s Oldest Burying Ground

11 a.m. lecture in the Visitor Center at Hall Tavern followed by a visit to the Old Burying Ground at 12 p.m. with John Hanson.

Guided Tours of the Old Burying Ground on Albany Road

Tours at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Join a Guide at the Old Burying Ground for a 45-minute tour of Deerfield’s colonial-era graveyard. Note: Meet the Guide at the Old Burying Ground.
